I graduated in early 2017 with a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching (ECE). My experience with my own children motivated me to change my career to early childhood education after having worked in business in China, UK and UAE before moving to N.Z. I am particularly inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy in teaching. I’m delighted to be part of the team here at Kindy Cottage and love seeing the children grow and learn with us.

I  have been working at Kindy Cottage as a Teacher-in-Training since early 2017. I fell in love with teaching in Cambodia where I taught English for 6 months at preschool level and returned home to continue the dream. I am furthering my education and studying towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. In doing this I can make the greatest difference and contribution to tamariki learning and experiences. I flourish best in arts and crafts, sports and music.
